Critical Gaps: Only 10% of students have access to structured career counselling; 90% lack awareness of course costs, and 78% don’t have a backup career plan.

Gender Divide

Gender Divide: Female students reported lower confidence and restricted choices due to societal and family pressures compared to male students.

Improve digital infrastructure so that students, especially in rural areas, can benefit from online career tools and emerging opportunities in the digital economy.

Support Underrepresented Groups

Provide gender-responsive counselling, engage parents and teachers, and offer financial planning tools to help female and rural students overcome barriers.

Expand Holistic Counselling Services

Go beyond basic career advice by including career portfolio building, financial literacy, and purpose-driven thinking in guidance programs.
